My Approach

When families come to me, they’ve usually tried it all — the routines, the wake windows, the “drowsy but awake.” Yet despite their best efforts, sleep still isn’t falling into place. That’s when I help shift the focus, from what parents are doing, to why sleep isn’t coming together in the first place.

Because the truth is, most sleep struggles aren’t just about behaviour.

Often, there’s something deeper going on, things like oral ties, reflux, allergies, feeding difficulties, nutritional gaps, or sensory sensitivities. These underlying factors can make it hard (or even impossible) for a child to sleep well, no matter how consistent the settling technique. Until we uncover what’s really happening beneath the surface, true rest remains out of reach.

That’s why my approach is both holistic and investigative. I don’t jump straight into “sleep training.” Instead, I take time to understand your child’s full picture, developmentally, medically, emotionally, and environmentally. Because sleep is a two-part process, and what happens during the day (or within the body) often explains what’s unfolding overnight.

Together, we’ll uncover the root cause of your child’s sleep challenges and create a plan that’s gentle, responsive, and realistic. My goal isn’t just to get your child sleeping,  it’s to help you feel calm, confident, and supported every step of the way.
